The week around May 1 was dedicated to training and further education.
As every year, our fitters have been trained by the German Red Cross so that all our employees are first aiders. Due to the large number of our construction sites, it is otherwise not possible to staff every site with a first aider.
We have therefore decided to train all fitters, site and project managers and to refresh their knowledge every year.
Mr. Horn from the Employer’s Liability Insurance Association was also present throughout the week and gave our employees another introduction to the topic of occupational safety.
This was mainly about the following:
– What to consider before entering a construction site
– How employees should behave in the event of an accident
– How to handle lifting and hoisting work platforms safely
– How to lay Safety belts incl.
associated ropes correctly
In addition to the safety training, some of our employees were able to obtain their forklift driver’s license or refresh their knowledge.
As a result, we are now even more flexible on construction sites and can receive or load our goods independently of other trades.
We would like to thank all participants and instructors for the smooth and successful course of events, as well as all clients for their understanding that the construction sites were only minimally occupied this week.
Now we can start the upcoming projects with fresh knowledge!
